Hope Hemsley is a versatile artist specializing in visual development, background painting, and storyboarding for animation, aspiring to become an art director for her own animated productions. Hope has worked as a vis dev and bg painter for several short films, as well as an illustrator for children’s books and her self-started commission + painting party business. Additionally, she was the Art Director for her own 2D animated thesis film, Tale of the Nameless, which was completed in May of 2025. In her spare time, she can be found drinking matcha and geeking out over animated shows with her twin sister.
